Each of these area’s have common needs
·Clean water is rarely available - people drink, bath, and cook all from the same water supply that the animals drink and bath in. If there is a well, it is shared by several villages, and people walk great distances to get small amounts that they can carry home. We have drilled several wells and we plan to drill many more and put water closer to the people by drilling for water at the churches, so the people may come to the church and be supplied with the clean water of life they so desperately need. We are standing in prayer that we will get a water-drilling machine soon.
·In the cities - we will have warehouses as our main distribution centers, these will store and ship to the churches; rice, beans, flour, oil, etc… allowing the churches to feed the people. The distribution centers will also act as intercity churches, orphanages, schools where we can teach people about God and how to read and speak English, a discipleship center for the homeless, the street children and widows. These will be multi-function centers meeting both the spiritual and physical needs.
·In Bombay, Mumbai - The world’s largest slum; thousands & thousands of children arrive daily, running away from starvation or servitude. Once here they are starving, they steal, sell themselves. They will do almost anything to survive. Our goal is to bring them in once a day to feed them, and while they are eating play Christian videos in their language so the word of God can touch them. We need to offer these children a way to survive and have hope. We have a plan for teaching them how to make “Handi-crafts” to export - small-scale industries to sell over seas, thus making them independent. We need projectors and films translated into the Hindi language.
·In the rural areas - we plan to bring in Buffalo, (cows) goats, and chickens, to help make the families self-sufficient. Buffalos provide milk to drink and sell, as well as the ability to clear ground for crops, and eventually more buffalo to sell, and an income to tithe with. Giving the local Pastors the male animals opens the door for communication and breeding. We would also like to give rickshaws to poor local families to allow them to earn a living, thus giving them the ability to pay tithes to support the pastors.
·We already have three orphanages and desire to provide more - many poor Indian’s sell their children trying to save them from starvation. Our orphanages give the children the ability to read and speak English, as well as knowledge of the Lord, and hope. Schools are also needed for the tribal areas. The schools educate the children, feed them at least one meal daily and teach word of God.
·The Pastors - Here in the USA and in many countries of the world, to be a Pastor is an honor. While not the easiest life - there is respect given. In India where Hinduism is the national religion (81% of the population) and Christians are 2.3% of the population - Christian pastors have a hard life. Pastors need a Training Center in each state, where they can go to be strengthened and receive new revelation on the word, as well as place to share what they’ve learned out in the field with each other. We need to teach the people how to support themselves and pay tithes to the church opening the door to being blessed themselves.
·It is our goal to make the pastors and the churches the source. The source of water, the source of the male animals for breeding, the source of food to the needy, the source of a way to support their families through the tailoring center or the exporting of crafts. As trust develops, the people will start to see the love of God operating through these pastors. As the Revelation of the Kingdom of Heaven comes, they will see a God who desires their love.
·Medical Camps - Many diseases could be stopped through good hygiene. We want to provide 1 day medical camps in the remote villages to teach the people hygienic things that can be implemented into their lives during the day and then share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them in the evening. We have had several Christian doctors and nurses request serving the Lord in this way.
