It is the goal of Patmos to supply the people of India with the Word of God and their basic needs. People who are hungry or have been deceived through idolatry do not want to hear about yet another god. They must be shown the Love of the One True GOD. That is the only way to break the lies and open the door to the truth. It is our desire to stand in the gap holding the door open for them.
Current Work
The people of India are so poor that they sell their children to keep them from dying of starvation. We have opened a school and three orphanages to save them from this tragedy.
Patmos has built many churches where people are being saved, delivered and healed by the power of God.
As the Indus people are converted to Christianity, they are considered outcasts to society. Patmos has built a school of trade to teach the Christian women how to sew to help provide a living for their children.
When the word touches their hearts, people hunger to be baptized. The pastors are creative in providing a means to fulfill Gods promises in the lives they touch.
Patmos has 6 Tailoring Institutes; – 1 in Karnataka, 1 in Gujarat, 1 in Tamilnadu & 3 in Kerala. These centers are a means of income for woman with children who have been thrown out of their families for giving their lives to the Lord.
This year alone we have sent many missionaries to Sikkim, Nepal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Punjab.
We already have another team ready to go in October. These people are from various churches around this region. They have a desire to touch the people up close and bring the revelation of Christ to the people. We need a printing press, to provide Christian literature and bibles in local native languages. This way the words are not lost when the missionaries leave.
